Christine Zou is a first year student at CCNY who is currently studying architecture. Christine is from New York City and currently lives in Staten Island. Growing up, Christine lived in many places around the world. After being born in New York City, she and her family moved all the way to China till she was about five years old. Then they moved to the state of Georgia and returned back to New York City when she was around ten years old. Christine is an only child but has a lot of family. Her father, coincidentally, was an architect and her mother was a sales representative growing up. Christine enjoyed going to school growing up, making lots of friends and always doing good in her classes along the way. Outside of school, she enjoyed being creative with activities such as drawing and photography as well as playing video games and traveling. She has traveled a lot in her childhood, visiting places like Los Angeles, Bermuda, Canada, China, and parts of Florida. Christine always knew she wanted to be an architect growing up and she always enjoyed living in the fast paced city and meeting new people. 

In the present, Christine Zou is now pursuing a degree in architecture and meeting new people all the time at her new school. When asked what has changed in her life up till now she responded by saying that she feels like a more mature person and that she’s learned a valuable lesson to let the past go. Along with her architecture major, she still continues to pursue creative activities like drawing and photography and she enjoys all the friends she is making.  

Moving on to what the future looks like for Christine, she hopes to have a career in architecture that she can enjoy as well as be able to provide for the future family she plans to have. Additionally, she hopes to be able to save up for a house where she can enjoy and live her life. Furthermore, she hopes that she and all her friends and family are in good health and she hopes that someday she can travel the world with her friends. Some places she wishes to go to are Japan and Korea. 

Christine seems to always value the people in her life, constantly meeting new people and making friends. She also loves being creative and hopes to pursue it in her career. She doesn’t seem to want anything overly complicated in life and enjoys the simple things in life, spending time with the people around her and wanting to have a family and travel the world.
